MBA

  • MBA in Finance

  • MBA in Marketing

  • MBA in HR (Human Resource)

  • MBA In International Business

  • MBA in Operation Management

  • MBA in Rural Management

  • MBA in Agri Business Management

  • There are about more than 48 Micro specialization in MBA which are not stated above.

  • The selection for such courses is done on the basis of an entrance examination conducted at the National or state level such as CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/CMAT etc.


Banking

Banks hire fresh commerce graduates. You can get a job in any bank by registering on the banks websites or by following the employment news.

Entry Level Information

  • Candidates get recruited at 2 levels in the banks :-

  • Clerical Level

  • Officer Level.

  • The procedure of selection varies with nationalized and international banks.

Selection Procedure:-

  1. Clerical Level- Graduate with 60% marks and Qualifying Entrance Exam

  2. Officers Level:-Graduation and Bank Probationary officers Exam(Bank P. O. Exam). Bank P. O. Exam require high degree of proficiency and Skills.

  • ​Bank officer of Nationalised Bank is a Gazetted officer of the Government of India.

  • Banks also appoints CA, MBA, CS, CMA, CFA’s etc. as regular employee who are the part of their Technical Team.

  • Perks and Remuneration are best in the industry.

  • Banks also appoints Merchant Bankers as Share Brokers and intermediaries.

  • Banking provides high carrier growth and development through out their service.

Chartered Accountant

  • ​Accountant is required in all types of Industries. Every company requires accountant to run their business

  • and to keep track of Profit and Loss of their Company.

  • Every organization - no matter if it is a large corporate house or an NGO - must maintain accounts and manage its finances.

  • ​Only qualified chartered accountants are permitted to audit an organization's records

C.A.’s are responsible for :

  • Financial & Tax & Management

  • Accounting & Auditing

  • Advise and Planning.

Eligibility:

  • Registration can be done after 10th and exam after completing High School (12th)

  • Exemption: CPT Exempted for Graduates, Post Graduates and equivalent Degrees. Commerce students with 55% marks and other Graduates with 60% can take direct admission for IPCC.

  • Exam Dates: CPT exam held in JUNE and DECEMBER in paper pencil mode.

Career as Company Secretary

A company secretary has been recognized by Various enactments as one of the principal officers of the company.

The knowledge and training acquired by him makes him versatile to carry out various functions in

  1. Finance,

  2. .Accounts,

  3. Legal,

  4. Administrative and

  5. Personnel areas in addition to his own secretarial duties and responsibilities. In fact, his role starts from the very moment when the idea of formation of a company is conceived.

After 10+2 pass

Three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.

  • Foundation Programme

  • Executive Programme

  • Professional Programme

After passing the Graduation

  • Two stages of the Company Secretaryship i.e.

  • Executive Programme

  • Professional Programme

  • ​Foundation Programme which is of eight months duration can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Excluding Fine Arts)

  • Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.

  • Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course

Insurance

  • ​Insurance sector not only provides a protective shield to the lives and assets of the nation but also generate thousands of jobs and career opportunities.

  • Course Details:- To pursue a career in the insurance industry, one has to pass the entrance exam conducted by “ Actuarial Society of India, Mumbai” students who have passed 10+2 or Equivalent are eligible.

  • Career prospectus:- Post-graduates in any discipline can be recruited as Asst. Administrative Officers through the recruitment exam conducted by the Insurance companies.

  • Courses: MBA in Finance, Degree in Economics Degree in Statistics, CA, Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Market (Offered by NISM, Mumbai), etc.

  • Admission: Through CAT Score and Merit.

  • Skills Required: computer skills, Research skills, Self-starters, Communication skills, Organisational skills, Analytical skills, Quantitative skills, Problem-solving skills, Passionate About the stock market.

Cost and Management Accounting (CMA)

  • CMA Course is designed to nurture young business leaders of tomorrow who can convert the dream into reality by taking strategic management decisions effectively in both the National and International arena.

  • This course is based on International Standards set by IFAC(International Federation of Accountants) and IASEB (International Accounting Education Standards Board) and Initial Professional Development- Professional Skills(Revised) through IEG (International Educational Guidelines)

CMA Course Structure

  • ​CMA Foundation eligibility:- Minimum 55% in class 12.

  • CMA Intermediate Course eligibility:-

  • The candidate must have passed class 12 and CMA Foundation Course or Candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline.

  • CMA Final Course eligibility:-

  • Candidate must have passed CMA intermediate course, both groups or all eight papers.
