Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Upparwahi commemorated a significant milestone with the grand celebration of its Silver Jubilee and Annual Day, organised over two days on 2nd and 3rd January 2026 marking 25 years of excellence in education, values, and community service.
The Silver Jubilee Celebration on the evening of 2nd January 2026 was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Kalpana Kshirsagar, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Chandrapur. The programme was further enriched by a virtual address by Dr. Preeti Adani, Chairperson, Adani Foundation, which was played on the LED screen for the audience. Her inspiring message highlighted the importance of quality education, values, and holistic development and received warm appreciation from the gathering.
Shri Rajesh Sharma, Principal, Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Upparwahi, in his address, highlighted the school’s notable achievements in both scholastic and co-scholastic domains including academic results, sports, cultural activities, STEM initiatives, and community outreach programmes. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Adani Foundation for its constant guidance, support, and encouragement in strengthening the institution’s academic and infrastructural growth.
The celebrations continued on 3rd January 2026 beginning with a morning Alumni Meet where former students fondly revisited their school days and shared experiences, career journeys, and words of guidance with current students.
The Annual Day celebration in the evening of 3rd January 2026 was presided over by the Chief Guest, Shri Mahender Singh Rathore, Chairman, SMC, Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Upparwahi and Unit Head, MCW Plant. The occasion was further dignified by the presence of Guests of Honour Shri Kalyan Jogdan, Block Education Officer, Korpana; Shri Sachin Malvi, Block Education Officer, Rajura and Shri Sudhakar Pandey, Project Head, Line II, MCW.
Both days witnessed the presence of Heads of Departments and officials of Maratha Cement Works, visiting Principals from neighbouring institutions, parents, teachers, alumni and students.
Vibrant cultural performances by students reflected creativity, confidence and the school’s emphasis on holistic development. The two-day celebration concluded on a proud note and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to excellence under the Adani Foundation.
